The JCC offers swim classes, swim lessons and swim clubs for all ages and all ability levels. Through our classes, lessons and clubs, you can learn to swim, refine your strokes and build endurance. For more information, contact Caroline Cardullo at 301-348-3890 or ccardullo@jccgw.org.

Swim Lessons
Work with an instructor in a small class or private lesson to attain your personal goals. Half-hour swim lessons are available to meet your scheduling needs. Private (one student per instructor), semi-private (two students per instructor) and private small group (three or more students per instructor) lessons are available. Lessons are also based on instructor availability. Online registration is not available for swim lessions. Registration will open in mid-August.

Swim Clubs

Aquatic Group Fitness
Water fitness classes are non-impact total body workouts. Classes offered include Flex & Stretch, Aerobics and Deep Water Jogging. Water aerobics is conducted in shallow water and involves the use of water weights and aqua steps. Water jogging is conducted in deep water with use of floatation devices such as aqua jogger belts and/or noodles. Classes are free for members. Drop-in fees are offered to the general public. Special Needs
The Gudelsky Exceptional Swim Program is for children, teens and adults with physical, orthopedic-related disabilities. Swimming, Swimming is also available for adults, age 18+. In this class beginner swimmers will advance to swimming without any support. Click here for more information.
 
Adults and Teen Volunteers Needed for Gudelsky Swim Program
Do you like to swim? Consider becoming a volunteer with the Gudelsky Swim Program, Saturday mornings at the JCC between 10:30am and 12:30pm. This special program for children and adults with physical disabilities provides, on a one-on-one basis, exercise for the participants and/or swim instruction, under the direction of a physical therapist.
